T-1, June 2005

I walked into a Boston hospital to have my airways rebuilt. After surgery my body failed and I was resuscitated three times and was put in a medically induced coma. Approximately four months later I was awakened and the medical staff realized there were problems with my lower half. After many tests and a waiting game and more tests it was determined that I was paralyzed from the chest down and would not walk again.
Other than regaining a little bit of strength in my arms there has been no improvement.
