I was injured sleepwalking. I fell off my bedroom deck in the middle of the night. I am 6 months post injury and dealing with the day to day things. This is a very hard journey for me. I used to garden, boat, float, walk with friends, etc. I have three very healthy daughters and a wonderful husband. We own our own business so he is able to help with my care. I have had wonderful family and community support. I wake up every day hoping to feel something new. I search the various websites often looking for my "miracle". Spinal cord injury is such a devastating thing. My goal is to stand on my own by the time I am 50. That gives our researchers 8 years to come up with something. I would truly hope that help will come here in the great USA but I will travel elsewhere to get the help I need. My family needs me back!!
