The day my life changed was just a normal day riding my snowmobile with my friends. I was an out going kind of person before my injury. Always going out with friends & playing sports. It's amazing how fast everything can change in a second. Before my injury I didn't know anything about spinal cord injury. I couldn't believe I would never be able to walk again. I am able to work full time and support myself, so I'm grateful for that. I read stories on here and think this is awful way to live and feel for everyone that has to live this way of life. I try to tell myself it could always be worse, just try to make the best of it.
Best of luck to you all that have to deal with this "way of life". Your stories show me I'm not alone.
Hopefully a new man or woman in the White House will help us all get out of these chairs.
