I was a dancer about to embark on my law degree when a guy ran me off the road causing me to hit a tree at over 50mph. He was never caught, but in that split second he ripped my dreams apart. I am trying to make the most of my life yet what really keeps me going is the realisation that with continued research I will have the chance to walk again.

I want to walk my little girl through her school gates and gaze at my boyfriend as I walk up the aisle to take my vows. I want my daughter to grow up in a World where spinal cord injury is a temporary situation, not a disabling one.

I believe we are getting closer to the cure and I dedicate my life to fighting this atrocious injury until I can claim back what every person is entitled to....their health and happiness. Lets fight to end the misery of paralysis today.
