My name is Lois Hamilton and I have been paralyzed due to a compressed spinal cord since 1995 when I had the first of two spinal surgeries. Prior to that time I was very active: a mother of 2 boys, a middle school math teacher and lover of many sports ~ skiing, tennis, biking, hiking and swimming. Since using a wheelchair, my life has changed considerably...

Please help those of us with spinal cord injuries to have hope for recovery by supporting research for a cure.
