Rendered quadriplegic by a gunshot wound in 1987, Richard chose a path of forgiveness & nonviolence and embraced music as his medium. Richard's debut performance of his inspirational tribute to Christopher Reeve, "Superman Forever", at the 2005 Washington Rally galvanized the crowd. He now performs throughout the Northeast at schools and advocacy events, delivering the message that a cure for paralysis CAN and MUST be achieved.
