Chad dove off a dock when he was 19 years old and forever changed the course of his life. Paralyzed completely from about 5 inches down from the shoulders with no sensation either, he promptly went about living his life. Worked full time for 10 years, got married in 2005.

We spend alot of time laughing at the total and utter absurdity that accompanies what I call "that little problem called complete and total paralysis"! We certainly gather our share of jaw-dropping (at times!) stares though with a massive powerchair, a six year old who typically rides in Chad's lap, a service dog, and a straggling behind bedraggled wife! Disability ain't an easy life, but we muddle through and have found our happiness in what really counts.
