My story for SCI comes from my son's best friend who became paralyzed at the age of 16. Until that time I had no idea what SCI patients go through. I have since that time witnessed just how terrible our government system works. The so called government benefits are a joke and we as citizens have the God given right to have a say in what we want to happen in our country since basically when we vote we are hiring those men and women to work for us. No one in our Congress can sit there and tell me or any other person that if it was their loved one "would they not want a cure?" Can they honestly sit there and tell me "No" That would be an out right lie to themselves and to every citizen in this country. I have the strength within me to FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT for a cure and nothing less will do. Wake up America with each and every day that passes "We do become stronger to fight for what we believe in. A CURE!!!
